The potatoes announced to be sold by Messrs Monteith and Co. at. auction brought no attendance of huyers. The lot of eighteen tons was sold privately afterwards for the sum of £21. Messrs Kennedy and Gillman sold by auction at the Spit to-day a consignment of produce ex Zior. Oats fetched 2s Yd to 3s per bushel ; fowl's wheat, 3s 4d per bushel.
(BY CABEE.) Xondokt, September 29. Consols remain at 99?^. Few Zealand securities are without change in price. Adelaide wheat, ex-warehouse, 48s ; New Zealand ditto, 565. Adelaide flour, exstore, 425. Australian tallow, best beef 425, and best mutton 455. Best sirles of Australian leather, llfd. There is a fair demand for most descriptions of Australian hides. MeiißOTTßke, September 30. New Zealand feeding oats are quoted at 8s 6d, and milling sorts flre worth 3s Bd. Sydney, September 30. New Zealand potatoes are quoted to-day at £2 5s per ton. Adelaide, October 1. The breadstuffa market is unchanged. Wheat, 5s 4d. Town flour £12 ss, and country brands £11 10s. Freights to the United Kingdom from Adelaide are 50rf, and ditto from the outports 52s 6d.
