WELLINGTON.
September 5. At a meeting of the Wellington Hebrew congregation yesterday resolutions were passed expressing sympathy with their distressed and persecuted co-religionists in the south of Russia. A subscription list was opened, and nearly £100 were subscribed in the room. A committee was formed for tbe purpose of collecting subscriptions.
