Latest intelligence from Afghanistan is to the effect that Ayoub Khan is still in the neighborhood of Caodahar, where he is recruiting his forces aud making requisitions upon the inhabitants of the district for supplies and arms, of which he stands much in need. His artillery is reported to be sufficiently strong, and fifteen of the Ameer's cannon captured at the battle of Karez IMigtar last month are in consequence being sent to Herat.
