The New Zealand five per cent 10-40 loan is quoted at 105|, the New Zealand five por cent 1889 loan at 105, and the New Zealand four and a half per cent loan at 103. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £15,200,000.
The bank rate of discount is 2£ per cent, and the market rate If. 2vdelai'h> wheat ex-warehouse, 49s ; New Zealand wheat, ex-ship, 48s ; Adelaide flour, ex-warehouse, 31s.
Australian tallow, best beof 365, and best mutton BSs. Best Sydney copra, £13 15s per ton. Selected transparent kauri gum is quoted at £10 17s 6d per cwt.
Bf.st sides Australian leather find but little enquiry, and prices ore one-eighth lower, namely, 11 J.
Sydney, July 8. Hennessy's brandy is quoted at 365, and bulk quartciß at 12s bd ; kerosene, diamond per gallon Is B£d, Devoe's 2s Id; New Zealand wheat, per bushel, 5s 2d; New Zealand oats, per bushel, 2s 6d ; maize, 2s lOd : tobacco, Lwis*, per lb., Is 5d ; candles, D.R.J.'j, lb, 73d.
Adelaide, July 8. Wheat is unchanged at 4s 9d ; town flour £11 ss"to £11 10s, and country brands £10 10s to £10 15s.
