Spry, Cant, and Patrick Daly. 4 Union Company's s.s. Te Anau, Capt. M. Carey, arrived in the bay from Northern ports at 9 o'clock this morning, and was immediately tendered for passengers and cargo by the Boojum and ketch Admiral. She reports having left Russell on the sth at 8 p.m., and arrived at Auckland on the 6th at 7 a.m.; left again on the 7th at 10 a.m., and after experiencing head gale arrived at Gisbovne on the Bth at 5 p.m.; left same night at 11 p.m., and arrived heTe as above. Experienced strong head winds till arriving at Q-isborne. She left for Southern ports and Melbourne at 1.45 p.m. to-day. The s.s. Kiwi leaves for Gisborno at 4 o'clock thiaafternoo.i, taking a number of passengers and a good cargo. The s.s. Maori leaves for Wairoa on Monday night. The Union Company's s.s. Penguin was piernn'Wi f rom the South as our report left the Spit. I j.c k.s. Bowen is daily expected at Auckland with teus from Fooehow. This will be the first instance of a steamer direct from China visiting >'ew Zealand. The Bowen comes consigned to Mcssi'3 L.
