TIMARU.
May 13. At the Magistrate's Court this morning Michael Quirk was charged with attemped suicide in the park by stabbing himself. The man was only discharged from the hospital this morning, was immediately arrested by Detective Kirby. He waa committed for trial, but was liberated on his own recognisance of £50.
