(By Cable.) London, April 7. The total reserve in notes and bullion in in the Bank of England is £15,400,000. There is an active demand for most descriptions of Australian hides at prices oneeighth of a penny higher. Sydney, April 8. New Zealand wheat is quoted to-day at 4s 2d per bushel; maize, per 601b5., 3s ; candles, per lb., D.E.JVs B£-d, and D.E.O.'s B£d. Adelaide, April 8. Wheat, per bushel, is cjuoted at from 4s 4d to 4s sd, but little business has been done during the week. Town flour fetches £10 5? to ±"1O 7a 6dj find country brands £9 10s per ton.
