M. Coumoundouros, the Premier, made a speech 10-day dealing with the present negotiations for the settlement of the frontier difficulty with Turkey. In the course of his remarks he expressed an opinion that, though there was every possibility that Greece would be compelled to go to war to exercise her right, an outbreak of hostilities with Turkey was not inevitable, and might be avoided by negotiations.
