Nairn, Bamsden, A. C. Moonej, C. Blake, M'Phee, and Grant ; and „about 115 original. 6—Bella, s.s., for Clive. 7—Tararua. s.s., for Melbourne via Southern ports. Passengers —Miss Hogan, Mr and Mrs Ashwin and two children, Mr., Mrs, and Miss Knowles and servant, Messrs Smith, R. Cooper, and W. R. Blytho, the Revd. D. Sidey, Hone, native woman, and boy.
The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Te Anau, Capt. M. Carey, arrived here from Melbourne, via Hobai-fc and Southern ports, on Saturday afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The purser, Mr Thomas Birch, has kindly furnished us with the following report of her passage :—Left Sandridge pier, Melbourne, on the 22nd ult., at 3.40 p.m. and cleared the Heads at 6.20 p.m. ; experienced moderate S.W. winds and fine weather, and passing Swan Island at 2.30 p.m. on> tile 23rd, breasted Cape Pillar at 4.10 a.rm on the 24th, and arrived at Hbbart at 8.45 a.m. ; sailed again at 3.15 p.m., and! oleared the land at 7 p.m. same day ; thonce had strong S.W. winds across, attended by high seas, and reached the Bluff at 2:30 a.m. on the 28th ult.; left again at 5.30' p.m., and arrived at Port Chalmers at 5.30 a.m. on the Ist inst; left on the afternoon of the 2nd, and called at Lyttelton on the 3rd and Wellington on the 4th, leaving the latter port on Friday night at 10 o'clock, and arriving here as above, having experienced fine weather along the coast. The cargo was lightered ashore by the steamer Sir Donald and kofceh Admiral. She got away for Northern and Sydney about one o'clock yesterday morning, taking 55 sheep, 1 bull, and a qnantJJT of general cargo. The steamer Fairy, Campbell returned from Poverty Bay „?' 4 ° cl °<* on Saturday afternoon, which plaeJ sue letc on Thursday last. She has 340 sacks ».- %™ ss seed on board for Pourerere, which p._ n P e she will leave for as soon as the weather moderates. »
The s.s. Bella steamed for Clive on Sunday niebt in ballast.
The Union Company's s.s. Tararua, Capt. F. Gk Garrard, arrived here at an early hour this morning from Auckland, which place she left at 6 o'clock on the evening of the 4th; arrived at Tauranga at 7 a.m. on the 6th; left at 10 a.m., and arrived at Gisborne at 7 a.m. on the 6th ; sailed at 6 p.m, arriving here as above. Experienced fine weather throughout the run. Her cargo was lightered ashore by the Sir Donald. Up to the time our report left the Spit she had not left for the South, although the passengers were on board by 11.30 a.m., the amount of cargo to be discharged at this port probably keeping her. The lighters Admiral and Sir Donald discharged their cargoes ex the Te Anau at the cattle wharf and breast work respectively this morning.

Bingarooma left Sandridge on the Ist March at 3.20 p.m., and arrived at Milford Sound on the 6th at 5.40 a.m.; left at 11 a.m., and arrived at the Bluff on the 7th at 8 a.m. Had fresh head wind taarrival. Passengers for Napier —Two steerage. Arrived, s.s. Stella from West Coast. Sailed, Ncpbune and Firefly for" Newcastle. New PiTiroTrTH, March 7. A ship was signalled off Cape Egmont last night, supposed to be the Adamant from London with the harbor plant on board.
