(By Cable) Melbourne, February 26. The first day's racing of tbe Victorian Racing Club's autumn meeting took place to-day at Flemington. For the St. Leger Stakes only Grand Flaneur and Progress started, and the former won easily in 3 mins 18 sees. Roya! Mail won the Ascot Vale Stakes by a head. The racing throughout the day was good,
