AUCKLAND.
January 31. The Union Sash and Door Company have declared a dividend of 10 per cent. Archdeacon Maunsell yesterday delivered an address on the Education Act. He protested Btrongly against any attempt to re-introduce denominationalism, but claimed that the X ew South Wales system of admitting ministers and other qualified persons to give religious instruction at convenient hours should be empowered under the Act.
