J. Whewell occupied the pulpit at the Prrnell Chinch, choosing as his text the First Epistle of Peter, c. v., v. 10 and 11, "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Jesus Christ, after that ye have sufleied awhile, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you."
