Caledonian.— The news from the Caledonian to day is very good. 40lb. of rich specimens came to band from the intermediate level leaders daring the uight, besides a larger quantity of picked stuff; and to-d»y, from the same source, a huge block of stone, through which theie in a line show of gold, came to hand. It is expected that when this is broken it will bo found to be very rich. Tweedside. — A trial crushing of three tons from the Tweedside Claim, Hape Creek, yielded 4oz. 5dwt. gold. Sharemab ket. —Sales : Caledonian, £12 10d ; City of London, 20s ; Crown Priuce, contributing, 14s. Buyers : City of Lond on, 19d.
