AMUSEMENTS.
Japanese. — A large audience assembled at tho Prince of Wales Theatre on Saturday night, to witness the performance of the Japanese troupe. There was an alteration in the programme of the previous evening, some entirely new feats being introduced with great success, including the wonderful top-spinning performance, which was loudly applaaded. An entertainment was given >n the afternoon, which was well attended by juveniles, who were highly amused by Signor Ferrari's monkeys, and lost in wonder at the astonishing feats of the Japanese. The performance of the boy " All Eight" were particularly appreciated. Panorama. — The City Hall was tolerably wellifilled on Saturday night, when Charles's Panorama of the Franco-Prussian War was •gain exhibited. We ar« almost induced to again dilate upon the beauty of the pictures which illustrate most of the chief events of the late disastrous war, sur/A to indulge in praise of the" artist who painted them, but we must be content with recommending all lovers of art not to lose an opportunity of witnessing them. Some well-rendered songs by Mis Beresford and Mr. Margett* ierved M an RgrttAtte variety to the«ntert»uiment.
