Grahamstown, Saturday, p.m. Lowes To«key Tribute.—A crushing of 60 tons of stone has yielded 87oz. of gold. Imperial Crown Tribute.—Eighteen torn of stone has given a return of about 240z. of gold. Nonpareil. —Rich specimens were obtained from this mine to-day. There is now one hundredweight of specimen stuff in hand. Waitrmata. —There is a great improvement in the crushing. Windsor Castle.—A crushing for this company has yielded 3400z. of plafco amalgam from 50 tuns of stone. Cure. —Retorting wan finished to-day, 2830z, of gold being the result. This, from 156 tons of atone of an Bft. reef, is a splendid yield. Una, —The fortnightly return this time is 160oz. 19dwt. 12gr. melted gold. The lode in the low-level has been cut through, and proved 4ft. thick. It will be opened upon on Monday. Caledonian.—Forty head of stamps have been running for the mine this week—the return is 280oz. of retorted gold. All Nations.—Cleaning up for the month was finished to-day. The return is 3560z. melted gold. City of London.—As indicated by the increase of amalgam on the plates yesterday and to-day, the quality of the stone going through is improving. Market very quiet. Sales as follow :— North Deron, 10s. 6d.; Thames, £5 155.; El Dorado, Bs.; Calf, £1 17s Gd.; Nonpareil, £3 55., closed £3, no buyers ; Windsor Castle, 18s. The cause of Te Moananui v. Lnndon has been adjourned for ten days, pending Mr. Whitaker's return from Wellington.
