iHEJastof the shooting of tlie tournament held by the above Association was finished yesterday, when two matches were contested, the first being "The Consolation," for those competitors who had nob won a prize during the meeting. There were about 20 I ontu'ea and 15 prizes, the first; being a set of quoits, a pair of window sasheg, and £1. i I here was but one range, 300 yards, seven {.hots, any position. The shooting was excell eat. The first prize was won by Mr. Campbell, with a score of 20 points out of a possible 98, and of the other competitors ho oho frcm'iuy under vhe average of centres secured a prize. The next match was " The Lidies'," for which th re were 41 entries in ladies,' names. The m itch was opened by Miss Builer filing Ihe first shot ana scoring a bull's-eye. Kanges, 300, 400, and 500 yards, any position, s<.cond-cl:m targets. The m.itch created immense excitement, many of the lady competitors being present to encourage their respective champions. At the teimmation of the filing at the first aud second range*, the following ladies were ahead :—Miss Builer, 3i; Mrs. Turner, 34; Mrs. Logbarty, 34; Miss Belcher, 33; Mrs. Munay, 33 ; Miss Fenton, 33; Miss Burns, 33; Mis Bruce, 33; Miss Frieison, 33: Mis. McGonagle, 32; Mrs. Grant, 32. Of the prizes of this interesting match, eleven in number, the first is a gold biooch and a child's cradle; and the others include a wedding ring, child's chair, wedding cake, child's feeding-bottle, and teething powders; a grenadine ball dress, scent bottles, fans, &c. I will wire the result to-night. Lunch was provided for tho competitors by Mrs. Murray on the ground.—[Thames Corlespondent.]
