One hundred and thirty tons have been passed through the battery, the quantity of amalgam on hand being 1,0500z. hard squeezed. Maiket much brisker. Buyers : Thames, £5 10s. ; Moanataiari, £4 10s. Sellera : Una, ISs. Waitemata and Windsors inquired for. 'Ihe arbitration case, Te Moananui v. Lundon, was resumed to-day, and again adjourned after part of the evidence of a Maori, "Edward of Parawai," ha f l boon taken. Tn the ladies' match at the Rifle Association meeting, Mrs Turner won the first prize with 52 points j Miss Buller, second, 62 ; Miss Burns, third, 4S ; Mrs. McClogeiy, fourth, 48. Tho City of London got out some good specimens to-night fiom the bottom level of the winze. The Poverty and Charleston crushing was finished this evening. They will commence to retoit to-monow. The result of the crushing was 1,3000z. of amalgam from 20 tons of general btuff and specimens.
