WATER SUPPLY.
A preliminary meeting of the promoters of the proposed Water Company was held yes. terday at the office of Mr. G-. W. Jones, Shortland-street ; and a further meeting has. been fixed for to-day (Thursday), -when, there is every probability that arrangements will be concluded for bringing the scheme before the public.
