ST. SEPULCHRE'S ENTERTAINMENTS.

We are glad to see that these popular entertainments, which met with so favourable a reception last winter, are to be resumed this year. The next is advertised to be given on Thursday, at the new Choral Hall ; and will comprise, besides a choice selection of music and readings, a short comic opera entitled "£ s. d. f " and a capital farce on " The Census." These entertainments have been hitherto remarkable for the evident care bestowed upon their preparation by the amateurs who take part, while one of the leading characteristics is the shilling price of admission.' The object to which the proceeds are to b.e devoted is the same as last year, namely, a building fund for a parochial school.
