AMUSEMENTS.
PsnrcE or Walks Thjeatkb. — The above theatre wm well filled in all parts last night, when Shakespeare's comedy of " Much Ado About Nothing" was repeated. It was even more successful than on th» previous night. Mr. Hoskins and Miss Colville received a peremptory call(Jat the conclusion of the third act, and the other representatives of the principal characters received a large share of applause. The farce of " The Sea Gulls" concluded the peiformaace. — "The Game of Speculation" and "The Ladies' Club " are announced for to-night. Theatre Royal. — This theatre was fairly attended last night, wken the programme of the previous evening, consisting of the his* torical drama of "Mary Queen of Scots," and the burlesque of "Little Don Giovanni," was repeated. Bath pieces p»S3«d off with, as much success as the previous evening. Mr. Holdawerth sang one of his favourite songs in a very effective style, and received considerable applause. — The pieces for tonight ate "wfio killed. Goals. Robin?" and " Little Doa Giovanni." A promenade concert in aid of the Refuge for Destitute Old Women and Lying-in Hospital will be given in the City Hall this evening. The, funds of this excellent institution are, we regret to say, very low ; and. it is to be hoped a ready response will be made by the public this evening, when an opportunity will be given for passing a pleasant evening, rendered still more enjoyable by the sense that assistance is being rendered to a deserving class of suffering humanity. A few fancy articles will bo offered for sale during the evening. The programme is published in our advertising columns.
