PORT ALBERT LITERARY CLUB.

The July meeting of the above society was held at Mr. Becroft's, on Friday last, 28th ultimo, Rev. W. Worker, President, in the chair. There was a good attendance. — Mr. James Turner read an interesting paper on "The Mechanism of the Human Frame," which was followed by the usual animated discussion.— lt was resolved that the rules of the Port Albert Library should be amended, so that subscribers of six shillings per annum should be allowed to obtain two volumes at once, and retain the same not aver four weeks. The ordinary subscription is four shillings. — [Correspondent.]
