Total, £629 10s sd, At the meeting of creditors, to-day in the estate of H. S. Meyers, held at the office of Messrs. Combes and Daldy, Mr. S, Hague Smith in the chair, the chairman stated that he had received ft letter from Mr, B, Layy, in reference to his arrangement with the $re» ditors of Mr. Meyers, and which he would read to the meeting, (The arrangement stated was that Mr, Meyers should assign all his goods, &c, over to his creditors, and that Mr. Levy should guarantee that the estate will yield at the least 6s. in the pound.) Proposed by Mr. J. Abbott, and seconded by Uv- Ppat|ipr, thns the offep pf Mr, g, Levy be accepted (including the notes pf Ma Kusselljj ana that two trustees on bphalf of th- creditors and one on- behalf of My. B. L.e.vy be appointed. Carried. — Proposed by Mr. Mackelvie, and seconded by Mr. Stevenson, that Messrs. Batger and S. Hague Smith be appointed- trustees on behalf of the creditors, and that the estate be vested in those gentle* men and Mr, H, Isaacs, Carried,— Mr. Bee». solicitor, wm instructed to prepare a deed at once. Mr. S. Jones held a sale of brandies, whiskeys, «r,c. , in bond, at his mart, Queen* street, today. There was » good attendance, but the bidding was low, The following are some of the prices obtained ! — Bum, 30 0.p., 4s 6d; rum, 100.p., 3s 6d per gallon; A,V.C. case brandy, 18s 3d; A.V.C. brandy, in bulk, 5s 9d per gallon ; Hennessy's brandy, bulk, 7s 9d; Burnett'* old torn, case, 14s 3d. At Mr. B. Tonka's sale of spirits, &c, in bond, to-day, the following prices were ob« tamed : — Dunville's whiskey, in quarter* casks, 4s Id per gallon ; octaves, 4s 3d ; sherry, 3s 5d ; port, 4s 7d ; case moselle, No. 2, Deinbard's, 335, HtJßsra. Arthur and Son report the follow* ing prices obtained at their sale to-day :-— Bacon, 7d to 7|d ; butter, in kegs> 6d to 9d ; cheese, 5d to 8d ; keg lard, 4d ; bladder lard, 7|d; potatoes, 50s; onions, Id to lsd.
