THE GOLDFIELDS REWARD).

The following is the result of the examination of the Goldfields Reward Commissioners into the claim laid before them, for the £5,000 reward offered by the Provincial Government for the discovery of a payable goldfielcl in the province of A uckland. To Taipari has been awarded i 250 ; to Hamiora, £150 ; toParatene, £150 ; and to the Messrs. Ring, £200 ;in all £750. This would appear to be the whole amn recommended by the Commissioners |to be granted out of the £5,000 voted. Mr. Grove, one of the Commissioners, has protested against the above decision.
