LADY BOWEN'S "AT HOME."

Last evening Lady Bowen gave an "at borne' at Government House, and for which an exceedingly large number of invitations had been issued. Admiral Hornby and the officers of the Flying Squadron, Colonel Elliot and officers of the 18th Royal In&h, and the «51ite of the city and sin rounding districts, were present. The 18th Band was in attendance m the sj^aeious ballroom, and at about half-xjast 9 o'clock dancing was led off by his Excellency the Governor and Mrs. Vogel, and Admiral Hornby and Lady Bowen.
