A proclamation has been issued by Tawhiao, denouncing Te Kootf, and forbidding the Iling natives to gi»e him shelter. The Waikutos, WhaDga mis, and Ngatinoaniapotoa are blocking up all the roads fi'om TaufD against Te Kooti in order to p event bii escape. Beuheu reports that ie Kooti is very short of both food a. d ammunition. Topia, a chief of Upper Whunganui, who has just returned from a visit to KiDg Tawhiao,' proposes to take Te Kooti captive, and hand him over to the Government. In the Court of Appeal, Regina v. Maoandrew, in reference to the Princes-ufcreet Keserve, the judgment of tha Couii below, in favour of defendant, has been confirmed. AlleD, for thB natives, applied for leare to amend declaration. The Court advised him to reconsider the matter before pressing the declaration.
