MEETINGS OF MINING COMPANIES.
A meeting of shareholders in the Never-too-late-to-Mend Claim was held at Grahamstown, on Thursday evening lasb, when all accounts against th-3 chum were passed, and instructions given for their immediate liquidation. The rulea foimerly in existence for the management of the claim were confirmed, and a call of 30s. per lull share made payable, for the purpose of forming a tramway und purchasing trucks for the claim. At a meetiug of the directors ot the Sacramento and Alabama United No, 1 Goldmining Company, held at Graharastowrj, teuders were accepted for continuing the main drive No, 1 to the boundary of the company's ground up to the Sfciir of Fermanagh, and aiother teeder to continue No. 2 drive. Meetings of mining companies bave been called a3 follows : — Waitakere Prospecting, 30bh, Auckland; Greab Atlantic, 29th, company's office. Calls have been made in the following goldmining companies : — Waitakere Prospecting, 6rl. f; Southern Pacific, 3d, ; Clarkson'a No. 2, 6d.
