His' Royal Highness the Field-Marshal Command-ing-in-Chief has been pleased to graut medals for lone; service and good conduct to four men of the 2nd Battalion 18th Regiment. Those medals will be presented before long to the soldiers entitled to receive them, all of whom, it is stated, are in Auckland at present. .., The following app wed in the London Gazette dome time receutly, and refer to the 2mi Battalion j 18th Regiment :— lBth Foot—Eifsion Ollyet Ander- ' ison \Voodhouse to be lieutenant, vice G.
