NOTICE. TN consequence of the Funeral of the late Mr. Ridings, the MEETING advertised for THIS DAY, 17th instant, will be POSTPONED till MONDAY next, 19bh October. A MEETING will be HELD at the Mechanics' Institute on MONDAY next, the 19th October, at 2 o'clock, p.m., of all parties who are desirous of assisting to make provision for the Sick and Debtilute. A number of gentlemen have placed funds at the disposal of the Ladies' Benevolent Society for the temporary relief of the Sick and Destitute, and they invite the co-operation of all who are desirous of placing the relief of the Sick and Destitute on a proper footing.
