DARING ROBBERY AT ONEHUNGA. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.)
A daring robnery wa* effected on Sunday nisht last, on the premises of Messrs. E. Gibbons and Co. , on the beach, Onehunga. The building, which oonsists of an office with a store at the back, appears not to have been broken into, but the door was opened witb a key, and a gre*t ma»ny articles from the xtore were taken away, valued at £15 The goods taken comprised 22 penknives, 1 p«ck«geof tobacco* Jl pair woollen itockings, 5 Crimean shirts, 1 J»go« tweed suit, 2 pair of dark trousers, 1 pw/Ji,W { coloured trousers, 1 light coat and vest, 1 «J»* co»«» and 4 flannel under-shirts. At present, .«»2J£SJ clue to the depredators, but the .police 'WJ«^ ["g engaged in the matter, and it » hopj *J^JJ speedily successful, -^»ft W£S£?S of the office.
