EXPORT OF GOLD.

The 'Claud Hamilton,' which left for Sydney on March 2, took 6710z. 12dwt. of gold. The Bank of New Zealand shipped 1,500 ounceß by the 'Taranaki on March 4 for Southampton per Panama steamer. By the s.s. * Taranaki,' which sailed on March 15, the Union Bank of Australia forwarded for transhipment at Wellington to steamer for Southampton a box of gold containing 1,7800z. 6dwt. About 600oz, were received too late for shipment. The s. s. 'Airedale,' which left the Manukau on March 18, for the Soutb, took a parcel of gold containing 1,1190z. 12dwt. for transhipment at Wellington per next Panama steamer, on account of the Bank of New Zealand. She also took a small parcel of 960z. 7dwt. for transhipment to Sydney steamer, on account of the same Bank.
