CRICKET. AUCKLAND Y. GARRISON.
A ceicket match between eleven of the Auckland cricketers, and a garrison team, with Mr. Lankham, was commenced in the Albert ground yesterday. The match was commenced at too late an hour in the day to ensure its conclusion, so it was determined to draw the wickets at the termination of the first innings, and resume play again to day at 1 1 o'clock, should the weather prove favourable. Mr. Lankham's bowling did good Bervice for the garrison, as the subjoined score will show, as likewise did that of Mr. Horan for the civilians. Captain Dawson made a good score of 25 for the military, and Mr. Kissling 17 for their opponents. The civilians were the first to go to the wickets. AUCKLAND. First Innings.
