HOBART TOWN.
Arrived.—September 8, Bell* Mary, barque, 276 toni, Copping, from Sydney. The barque Bella Mary, Captain Copping, from Sydney the 30fch ultimo, arrived dt the wharf on Sunday afternoon. Captain Copping reports fine weather to Twofold Bay, which was made on the Jst instant. A heavy S.W. gale Was then experienced, and th 9 barque was hove-to for 24 hours. The gale moderated on the Monday, and she had fresh northerly winds till making the Pillar on Wednesday night, when they met another hea?y S.W. pale, which continued till Friday night, when the Pillar ■was rounded. She anchored below the battery on Saturday night, at 9 o'clock, and came up to the Franklin Wharf on Sunday. Captain Copping reporti a whaliDg barque, not made out, off Montague Point, on the 31st ultimo, and a whaling barque with painted ports off the Pillar on Thursday morning. The Bella Mary brings 300 tons of coals, and iome part of her original cargo to Auckland.— Tasmanian Times, September 10.
