A Provincial Government Gazette was published last evening, and contained notification of resolution of Provincial Council that a reward of £5,000 should be paid for the discovery of a payable goldfield in the province of Auckland ; election of Mr. James Rice Morgan as member of the City Board for West Ward No. 3 ; appointment of the following gentlemen as highway trustees for the Papakura Valley : — Alexander Wilkie, John Be Carteret, Benjamin Butterworth, Thomas Allen, and William Bailantine ; list of persons to whom auctioneers' licenses have been issued for the year ending 4th April, 1868 ; appointment of rangers under the Protection of Certain Animals Act Amendment Act, 1866 ; and estimates of the assets and liabilities of the Auckland Provincial Government on the 18th April, 1867.
