To the Electors of Pamell. ri ENTLEMEN,— The Session of the General As\Jf sembly having been protracted to a period at which my presence is uigently requiicd elsewhere, and as the new Electoial Rollb cannot be prepaied for some weeks, I had arranged to leave Auckland as soou as the House rose ; and I had no intention of troubling you in any way, iu refeieuce to the ensuing election, until the time for holding it approached. My detention by the late bad weather has accidentally given me the opportunity of seeing that an attempt is being made by an opposition candidate to canvass the constituency in my absence, and I am compelled to address a few woids to you to bespeak that spirit of fairness and consideration iu which I am sure you will never be wanting. The late Session lasted over three months : the sittings, including those of the laborious Committees — of which I was a member, were fiequently extended from 10 a.m. till past midnight. During the whole time I never was a day absent from my post, except on one occasion, when, your electoral interests having been endangered, I considered it my duty to leave the House for that one morning to warn you of what was in progress, and to prepare the petitions which were happily successful in enabling me to get *your just privileges affirmed. After such close occupation as this, you will not think it unreasonable that I should now devote some time to the management of my own affairs; and I trust you will not permit any unfair advantage to be taken of my absence, but that you will h'jld yourselves free from all pledges until the issue of the writs, when I shall take care to be in Auckland, and when it will be my duty, as well as my pleasure, to give full explanations of my past conduct, and of my views for the future, I have the honor to be, Gentlemen, Your most obedient servant, THEOPHILUS HEALE. Auckland, Nov. 10, 18GO.

To the Electors of Raglan. /^1 ENTLEMEN,— The Southern Division having vJT been subdivided in the two Electoral Distiicts of Franklin and Raglan, I beg to offer myself for re-election as your Representative in the General Assembly. I lemain Gentlemen, Your obedient Servant, T. M. HAULTAIN. Panmure, 15th November, 1860.

To the Electors of Franklin. ri ENTLEMEN,— At the request of several of the \JT Electors of your District, I beg to announce myself as a Candidate for the honor of representing your interests in the General Assembly, I remain Gentlemen, Your obedient Servant, M.
