CONNELL <fc RIDINGS Have received instructions from H. M. Government to Sell by Public Auction, at their Mart, Queen- Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, 26tk July next HM. COLONIAL GOVERNMENT BRIG • "VICTORIA," 200 tons, as she now lies in Auckland Harbour, with her Masts, Sails, Standing and Running Rigging, Anchors, Chain, Cables, new Hawsers, Four Boats, Chronometer, — Tons Iron Ballast, &c, &c. The "Victoria" was built of Blue Gum in Sydney, in 1840, is coppered and copper-fastened; underwent in 1848, at that port, a thorough repair in every particular, was newly coppered, new decks, masts, yards, and rigging, &c. Her accommodations for passengors are large and commodious. Her qualities as a weatherly craft and first-rate sea boat are well known in every port of New Zealand. An inventory of gear, stores, &c,, may be seea at the Auction Mart, and the vessel may be inspected on and after Tuesday, the 27th instant.

HALSTEAD, Veterinary Surgeon, having his instruments and a good supply of medicines on board the ' Galway Ark,' begs leave to acquaint the public of Auckland that he will be most happy to afford any assistance in his professional art. As Mr. Halstead's long and Bucccessful practice in New South Wales i 3 well known to many gentlemen in New Zealand, he considers comment unnecessary. The best assurance of ability is that all diseases incidental to the Horse will be undertaken upon the principle, —no cure no pay. All horses castrated will be insured at 10 per cent, to any amount, if required. Any orders left at the Exchange Hotel will be attended to without delay. Auckland, 19th June, 1854.
