Local Meeting At Hastings

A small card, confined almost exclusively to district horses, will be presented by the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club at Hastings on Monday, when the additional permit granted the Hawke’s Bay district clubs will be used. The weather has been fine in Hastings. and it it continues over the weekend tlie going will be in good order. The Gisborne -Maiden has been divided into two races, which will now be the first and third ou the programme. Betting will be win-and-plaec, aud horses in form include:— Gisborne Malden No. I.—Fosse Way, Indian Gold, Master Gary. Wairoa Hlghwelglit.—Malacca. Royal Pageant, Leghorn.
