Good Trial At Te Rapa

HAMILTON, October 19. The going was in good order at To Repa this morning when the semifinal gallops for the Waikato Hunt nieeting at Cambridge on Monday took place. The poles were out 55ft. from the rails. Several useful efforts were recorded, the best over a circuit being that of Full Hand, while over a sprint distance Hunting Camp, Cheval de Bataille, Brown Night, Jovial Princess and Craven took the honours. Red King, Expanse and Town Survey ran seven furlongs in 1.36 1-5. Over the same ground Te Awe Awe was not bustled to record 1.39. After covering the first two furlongs in 241, Leigh Hark and Air Peer got to the end of six furlongs in 1.22] with the former doing the better. Over a round, the best figures of the morning were credited to Full Hand, who was clear of Lady Netting in 2.7 l-o. Jovial Lad, who may make the trip to Waverley with Full Hand, accounted for Jeep, Hunting Loch and Recipient over tlie concluding stages of five furlongs in 1.7 Playfellow and Riverlands Roe beat Jovial Hour over seven furlongs in 1.34, the last half mile in 57. Craven, a good track worker, was doing better than Pink Shell over five furlongs in 1.6 3-5. Quinatloji strode over a round In 2.14 1-5. Colonel Vaals sprinted home the concluding two furlongs of his work. Royal Musk had the measure of Slumber Song, over the deciding stages of a round In 2.1(1). A useful six furlongs was run by the Improving Cheval de Bataille who jumped away in front of Bronze Night and .Come True and was holding them at the 'finish in 1.20 4-5. Gunman, who looks well, ran once round in 2.9). Master Cameron defeated Golden One over five furlongs in 1.7 4-5 and pleased by the manner in which he did his work.
