MERCANTILE LEAGUE
A meeting of the YVellington Mercantile Cricket Association was held last night, When it was decided that league matches would begin ou October 28. Teams were graded as follows:— A Grade—Amalgamated Bricks, Black and White Cabs A, Jasco, Justice Dept., Prestige Hosiery A, Taubman-s, Woolworths, YV.M.C. A. B Grade.—De Havilland, Grey Cabs, Miramar, N-C-.F Atlantic, Sargoods, Seatoun, Security-Audit, Advances. C Grade.—Taxes, A.0.T.N., Combined Distributors, Empire Box, N. YV. Thomas, Printing A, Public Works, Wright, Stephenson. D Grade. —Area 5, Central, Davenports, Love Construction, Prestige (Hosiery B, Printing B, Waterside A, YVjM.C. B. E Grade —Berhampore-Piratcs, Black and YY’hite Cabs B, Cables, Col-Beal, Evercady, Shipping, Waterside B, Wellington Taxis.
