Randwick Beat Korodale Randwick beat Korodale 15-12 in the semifinal of the Wellington Rugby League’s knock-out competition at htortii Park, Pctone, on Saturday. The winners , will meet Army in the final. MaHiuder kicked two penalty goals early in the game to put Korodale four points ahead. O’Halloran secured for Band-* wick, cut out the opposition, and sent Miller, who played a brilliant game, across the line under the posts. Fleming convert, cd, and then, with a penalty goal, gave Bandwick a 7-4 lead at toe interval. O'Halloran increased Randwick's points margin when he drop-kicked a field goal. McCeach, the Korodale winger, made a great run, to score in the corner. Mason, full-back i’or Ilandwiek, joined in a passing rush to complete the movement by scoring. The kick missed. McCeach again got possession and crossed in the corner after a determined so'o effort. Bevan converted right from the sideline, and the teams came on level terras, .12-12. At the critical stage of the game, Korodale mishandled close to their own line. Miller saw an opening, transferred to Waldte, who burst through and sent Pearce racing over in the corner for a try, which was not converted. Randwick 15, Korodale 13. Petone beat Army IC-0, In the preliminary game at North‘Park. Tries were ecor. ed for Petone. by Posselt, Sullivan, Currie and Greenstreet. Solomon converted one and kicked a penalty goal. For Army Manson scored two unconverted tries. Central drew with Newtown, 8-8; Clifton Rovers 'beat Uandwlck B, 13-0.
