Holding Air Superiority (British Official Wireless.) (Received July 23. 9.-10 p.m.) RUGBY, July 22. Allied air forces cannot rest at. any time in their effort to keep down the Luftwaffe to its present ineffective state, a spokesman reminded correspondents at supreme headquarters tonight. If they divert attention for any period from tiiis task they may find the Luftwaffe back on strength and efficiency, which might form a real threat, to future operations. Germany lias been reconstructing the aircraft industry and many factories have lately returned to 50 per cent, production. The spokesman referred to the attacks which had been made on aircraft factories and oil installations, and said that recent attacks had been directed against factories developing jet-propul-sion fighters which, it' manufactured, might play an important part in the defence of Germany as the Allies closed in. ,
