ON SMALLER SCALE
German Attacks North Of Jassy LONDON, June 7. The Russians report that they have thrown back four German tank and infantry attacks north and north-west of Jassy. These attacks were on a smaller scale. During the last three weeks the Red Army has destroyed more than 300 tanks, GOO field guns, 400 lorries, and more than 400 German aircraft. In addition the Germans lost more than 10,000 men killed.
