Randwick Beats Petone . Randwick continued their winning way in the Wellington Rugby League competition on Saturday by beating the only team that seemed likely to stop them —Petone, In a hard-fought game the final score was: Randwick 9 (try by McCabe. OTlalioran kicked two penalty goals and a field goal), I etone 7 (try by Bruce converted by Debney. who also kicked a penalty goal). Ruin and a high wind did little to affect, the vigorous football seen at Newtown Park when Miramar defeated Aotea. Though both back-llneo saw little of the bail, play was open and sometimes fast. The final score was: Miramar 13 (tries by Woods, Minnick and Cairns; Gollop converted two),' Aotea 0 (trv by Hawe; conversion and iwo penalty goals by Rangiwhetu). Tho wind was the deciding factor when Army 6 (tries by Crosland and Manson), beat Newtown 5 (try by Gordon, converted by Benton). It was slightly stronger when it played, for Army.
