LONDON MANAGER
New Zealand Meat Board The appointment of Mr. S. A. Chisholm as London manager for the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, a position held for many years by the late Mr. R. S. ForSyth, was announced by the hoard last evening. Mr. Chisholm, who is at present Director of , Stabilization, will take up his new duties in a few months. Mr. Chisholm is a business man with a wide experience of primary produce marketing in New Zealand and overseas and was in the earlier part of his career a livestock auctioneer in Taranaki. He was later connected with the export of primary produce from New Zealand. From 1936 to 1939 he travelled extensively in Australia, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom preparatory to taking a sehior position in London with a Tooley Street provisiori firm. In England he was associated with a number of wartime trade bodies representing the provision trade in dealing with 1 the British Ministry of Food. He returned to New Zealand l early in 1942 and was appointed Deputy Food and Rationing Controller. a position be occupied till he became Director of Stabilization in August last year.
