PARTIAL RESTORATION

Power In Victoria MEDBOURiNE, February 23. Repair work has proceeded so rapidly at Yallouru following the recent serious fires that restrictions on the use of electricity are now partially removed. Industries which had been restricted to alternate days may now operate daily. Domestic electricity, which had been reduced between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., is now restricted only between 10 a.m. and noon and from 1 p.m. to 4„p.m. The tram service has been fully restored, but suburban trains are still reduced. It is doubtful whether race trains can be provided on Saturday, and the races may again be cancelled.
