WANGANUI PERSONNEL
WANGANUI, February 10. Bronzed, fit and smiling and glad to be back home again, the Wanganui personnel of the second draft of furlough men arrived by special train and were given an enthusiastic welcome. Mr. R. G. Taiboys, president of the U.S.A., and members oJ the city council, the soldiers’ reception committee and the patriotic society were at the station to greet the men. There was no formal reception and the men were taken to their homes in cars.
A civic reception in honour of the men will be held later. •
