PIGEON RACING
The Wellington Homing Pigeon Society held a race from Hunterville on Saturday over a distance of 101 miles airline. There were Jl2 birds competing. They met adverse wind conditions, and fairly slow times were recorded. Results: J. A. Bock’s Bright Marvell, 840.9 y.p.m., 1; P. Cataldo’s Redwing, 539 y.p.m., 2; D. Talleni’s Blue Star, 831.1 y.p.m., 3; Taylor and Bowie's Little Girl, 821.6 y.p.m., 4; A. Reader's. Flying Ate, 820.5 y.p.in., 5; Heyward and Hoare’s Runabout, 819 y.p.m., 6.
