Badoglio Government' Action (Received January 20, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, January 20. The Badoglio Government has arrested eight delegates from the Brindisi region who were to attend a Democratic congress in Bari on January 28, reports an Associated Press correspondent in southern Italy. fifhe Democratic leaders fear other arrests, and accuse the Government of attemnting to sabotage the congress,, which is almost certain to demand King Victor’s abdication. They also declare the Government has drafted a large contingent of police to Bari in an attempt to convince the people that the congress threatens Italian unity.
