In the final game of the Wellington Association football second division knockout competition, Technical Old Boys beat University, 6-4. The game.' which was played at Crawford Green on Saturday, was a ,£pod exhibition of the code with University much improved in the second half. . Soccer has only recently been taken up at Victoria University College, and the students’ club has done well for such a new one. Mr. J. Meltzer, chairman of the Wellington Football Association, presented the Progress Cup, the trophy for the competition, to the winners.
