STILL MORE RAIN
The weekend saw a continuation of the wet spell "Wellington has been experiencing this month. Up till 9 a.m. yesterday 5.63 inches of rain had fallen, and between then and 9 o’clock last night a further 31 points were recorded at Kelburn observatory, making a total of 5.94 inches for the first 19 days of September, a month with an average fall of 3.4 u inches.
