The Wellington After-Care Assoeiatiou for Backward Children celebrated the thirteenth birthday party of the Children’s Club recently in the clubroom, 41 Kent Terrace. As the president. Mrs. C. J. Moore. J.P., was tillable to n ft end through illness, Mrs. D. Contis, vice-president, welcomed the mothers mid children. Games mid music were enjoyed and a home-made afternoon tea and birthday cake were served by committee members. A special treat, a gift- parcel for each child, was provided by a trustee, Mr. AV. 11.
